Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Project Sales Manager to strengthen our commercial operations in Europe. This role is key to expanding our customer base and project portfolio within choosen focus markets, in close collaboration with our Customer Service team and across the various brands of the Atkore Group.

The ideal candidate has a strong commercial background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. You are passionate about building customer relationships and driving growth through strategic project development.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and expand the customer and distributor base in choosen focus markets across Europe.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support the development of complex or large-scale projects.
  • Conduct customer visits and organize client meetings.
  • Follow up on quotations and actively prospect for new projects.
  • Participate in trade fairs in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Share market intelligence and competitor insights with the sales team.
  • Prepare sales budgets in coordination with the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Coordinate market activities with UK colleagues.
  • Manage pricing.

What you’ll bring:

  • Technical Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English, any other European language is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Understand market strategy and customer landscape.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients.
  • Contribute to ongoing project development and sales activities.

Within 6 months, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of customer portfolios and strategic projects.
  • Actively contribute to trade fairs and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve customer experience.

Within 12 months, you’ll:

  • Lead complex sales projects independently.
  • Drive growth in choosen focus markets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Be a key contributor to Atkore’s commercial success in Europe.
